65: time to hit the road

Got back to California in time for Hannah Norman’s wedding.

Wed July 30:

1st stop LG to rifle through storage for wedding attire & burning man supplies. Stopped in SF to see the boy. That’s his office:

The wedding was in Kirkwood, around the Norman family compound (ceremony at a place called The Hideout). A spectacular 3-day affair:

Heidi & Jan stopped for a couple days in Sacramento. Capitol, Old Town, Crocker Art Museum:

Took a 5-day road trip to Netarts, to Lilo’s getaway. Thanks Lilo!

…and home in time to prep for Pepper’s 88th birthday party Sunday AM:

Plan was to leave for Burning Man after, but got scared off by a wind storm that blew apart the camp RBA & Devon set up for us. Watching the weather reports, plan to set out at the crack of dawn tomorrow…….
