65: time to hit the road

Took a longer scoot, 2nd trip to Sorrento - on the north side of the peninsula - maybe 2 hours to get there.

The route: down to the coast hiway, west toward Positano. First stop (after macchiato @ the tabaccheria): Fiordo di Furore:

Past Positano, there’s an intersection where you can go down into Positano or continue along the coast:

Lunch at the marina:

Scooted/hiked out to the end of the peninsula:

stopped for a granita, the hustler out on the street recruiting for his grandmother’s pasta:

Scooted back, took a cutoff up the mountain through Conca dei Marini, stopped for a campari At a very nice hotel. Hoteliers are without exception extremely gracious & welcoming, no matter how scruffy you are:
