65: time to hit the road

Mon 5th: Up early, bus to Naples, dropped big bags off at a bag storage shop at the airport, pizza in town, ferry to Capri!

Naples: first big city in a while. Bus from the main bus stop to the airport:

Couple hours ‘til the ferry, strolled through town, had a Margherita pizza @ a place Leslie found online:

When the kitchen is on the 2nd floor:

Arrived on the ferry at Capri mid-afternoon.  The island has 2 halves, each anchored by a town. The east, main, more popular side, with the main harbor, is Capri. There’s a substantial mountain between; the west side is Anacapri. It’s much more down to earth.

We had an Airbnb in Capri, ‘cause we weren’t sure how much of a hassle it’d be to get to Anacapri. Turns out it’s no problem; if we go back we’ll probably stay in Anacapri - it’s much more real, and less expensive to boot.
