65: time to hit the road

Stayed two nights at an ex-girls summer camp "Treetop Santa Fe" at the top of a mountain. Nice campground, outdoor kitchen, bathhouse with hot showers, trail down to running creek. Arrived on fumes after dark, worked out fine.

Spent an afternoon strolling Santa Fe, had a great lunch at a Spanish restaurant "La Bola" with wine whose varietal was saved from Franco's low-yield grape purge by the vintner laying down in front of the bulldozers. It was good.
